Artists Solves Problems- I resolved my problems in my artwork by repainting over it when I made a mistake. Like when I was painting the face of the elephant. The lines were too thick and look to cartoonish. Mrs. Barnett showed me how to make the paint brush a point to get the lines thinner. It worked, but I did not shade so it still did look kind of cartoonish.
But now I do know how to make the lines thinner when needed.
Artists Reflect- I stepped back and analyzed my art work when I was finished making the galaxy. Also when I was completely done with the elephant.
I did consider how my ideas would work before I tried them. I had it all planned out in my head. The only thing is I had a concern about was, how the heck will I do the stars in the galaxy. Then Mrs. Barnett stepped in and showed me how to do them with a toothbrush. The galaxy came out really good.
